Treasured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

The 1990s were a time of discovery and courage in Marlborough. Deep in the Waihopai Valley, Bryan, Jan and Amanda Johnson had the audacity to establish 180 hectares of estate vineyards on land considered too hard, too dry and too unfertile for wine. It was a venture that started with a passion for the land. Taonga is sourced from the Johnson family’s estate Marlborough vineyards that epitomize what New Zealand wine is all about: fresh, crisp, juicy and delicious!

Taonga is the Maori word for “treasured gift,” usually symbolized by the jade necklace given to visitors (as seen on the label and shipper). Taonga wine is a treasured expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
